About Us
Shishuka Children’s Hospital is a rapidly expanding pediatric-focused healthcare chain dedicated to delivering safe, high-quality, and affordable pediatric care. As we grow our footprint across Bengaluru and beyond, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to oversee multiple centers, ensure smooth daily operations, and lead the setup of new facilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Multi-Center Operations Oversight
- Manage daily operations at assigned Shishuka centers to ensure excellent patient care and seamless service delivery.
- Oversee staff scheduling, patient flow, housekeeping, nursing, billing, and front desk functions.
- Maintain inventory management for pharmacy, vaccines, and consumables to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards.
2. Expansion & New Center Setup
- Lead the setup of new centers, coordinating with civil contractors, interior designers, and vendors for timely execution.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality standards during setup phases.
- Facilitate licensing processes (KPME, Pharmacy, Trade License, Pollution Control, etc.).
- Collaborate with leadership to finalize lease agreements, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor relationships.
- Ensure new centers are fully operational and transitioned smoothly to regular functions.
3. Staffing & HR Coordination
- Work with HR to ensure adequate staffing across all centers, including doctors, nurses, front desk, billing, and housekeeping staff.
- Assist with onboarding and orientation for new staff.
- Support HR in monitoring attendance, leave management, and resolving staff grievances.
4. Vendor & Financial Oversight
- Negotiate with vendors for cost-effective procurement of equipment and supplies.
- Monitor operational budgets and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Ensure timely procurement and inventory replenishment.
5. Compliance, Quality & Patient Experience
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Ensure adherence to NABH standards (if applicable) and uphold quality benchmarks.
- Regularly review patient feedback, address complaints promptly, and improve patient satisfaction.
6. Coordination & Reporting
- Travel between centers (within 5–8 km radius) for oversight and issue resolution.
- Provide regular updates on operations, challenges, and key metrics to senior leadership.
- Recommend process improvements to optimize operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospital Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in hospital or clinic operations management, preferably in multi-location setups.
- Strong negotiation skills with vendors, landlords, and contractors.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Hands-on experience in inventory management, staff scheduling, and compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Flexibility to travel locally within Bengaluru.
