Position
Business Development / Marketing Specialist (Hospital Channel)

Role Objective
Drive OPD footfall, treatment continuity, and admissions by engaging senior hospital consultants (Neurology, Neurosurgery, Critical Care). Coordinate OPDs, follow-ups, and convert referrals into ongoing rehab care.
Key ResponsibilitiesHospital & Doctor Engagement
- Visit assigned hospitals, nursing homes, and ICUs regularly; build and maintain relationships with consultants, discharge coordinators, case managers, and nursing teams.
- Position our centres as the preferred partner for post-acute and recovery care.
Lead Generation & OPD Coordination
- Identify potential patients from ICU step-downs, neuro/critical care discharges, and long-stay/dependent cases.
- Generate qualified leads, schedule OPDs, and ensure accurate referral records in CRM.
Patient Follow-up & Conversion
- Follow up with patients and families after OPD to support treatment decisions and ensure seamless onboarding.
- Coordinate with clinical and operations teams to remove conversion bottlenecks.
Account Management & Reporting
- Manage assigned hospital accounts end-to-end and collaborate with centre teams for smooth case progression.
- Prepare concise daily and monthly reports on visits, leads, OPDs, conversions, and revenue; review outcomes with the Revenue Head and act on improvements.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Productive hospital/doctor visits — Target: 8–15 productive visits per week (approx. 30–60/month), adjusted for city/territory.
- Qualified leads per month — Target: 12–25 qualified leads/month (leads that meet clinical and logistical criteria).
- OPDs scheduled vs attended — Target: Schedule 15–30 OPDs/month with an attendance rate ≥ 75% (attended/scheduled).
- OPD-to-treatment conversion rate — Target: 20–35% conversion within 30 days of OPD; aim for 2–5% month-on-month improvement where applicable.
- Revenue from assigned hospitals and referral consistency — Target: INR 1.5–4.0 lakh revenue/month or 10–20% quarter-on-quarter growth in referral revenue depending on market and role level.
- Reporting & follow-up timelines — Target: Daily visit reports submitted within 24 hours; initial patient follow-up within 48 hours of OPD/referral.
Note: Targets are indicative; final KPI levels will be set during onboarding based on city, role level, historical performance, and centre capacity.
Eligibility & Experience
- Graduate (any discipline); Healthcare / Life Sciences preferred
- 2–10 years in hospital BD, pharma/medical devices, or healthcare services (doctor channel)
- Proven experience working with senior consultants; exposure to neurology, neurosurgery, critical care, or rehab is an advantage
