About the role

HOPPR is at the forefront of innovation in medical imaging, developing the first multimodal AI foundation model. They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to automate testing processes and ensure the delivery of high-quality software, collaborating with development teams and designing complex automated tests for machine learning models. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and systems to ensure software quality. Work closely with development teams to integrate testing methodologies into the software development process. Identify, record, and document bugs. Develop and execute comprehensive suites of automation test plans and test cases to validate software functionality. Participate in code reviews to ensure that automated tests adhere to coding standards and best practices. Collaborate with the QA team to understand how manual test cases can be automated, ensuring comprehensive test coverage. Leverage state-of-the-art automation strategies and techniques for LLM output validation to enhance testing accuracy. Monitor and analyze test results, providing detailed reports to development teams and management for informed decision-making. Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies to continuously enhance testing processes. Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proficient programming skills in Python. Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, Postman, and Rest-assured. Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools, such as Github Actions or similar. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a keen attention to detail. Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and quality. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in testing and documentation processes. Preferred: Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus, enhancing the robustness of testing practices.
