We are seeking a Lead Backend Engineer to join our team at our office in JP Nagar, Bangalore. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and optimization of backend systems that power our products and services. Key Responsibilities:

1. Backend Architecture: Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and reliable backend systems and APIs.
2. Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of backend engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
3. System Optimization: Optimize system performance, scalability, and security to ensure smooth operations in production environments.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end systems.
5. Code Quality: Ensure the highest standards of code quality through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing.
6. Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and architectural patterns, continuously improving backend systems and processes.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Backend Engineer, with expertise in designing and scaling backend systems.
2. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Node.js, or Go.
3. Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
4. Familiarity with API design and RESTful services, along with version control systems like Git.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on optimizing performance and scalability.
6. Leadership experience in mentoring engineers and managing backend teams is highly desirable.
