Hood Packaging is currently recruiting for numerous NIGHT SHIFT Machine Operators for our Hanford Plant who will be responsible for machine set-up for orders, safety operates machine to production target, waste, and quality standards, and trouble shoots machine when it is down or not performing to standard.

Functional Responsibilities

• Sets-up machine to specifications outlined on the order
• Sets-up machine to standard set-up time & procedure
• Operates machine to standard production target and waste target
• Trouble shoots machine when it is down or not performing to standard
• Responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day operation of the machine is consistent with the policies and procedures which make up the Quality System.
• Performs inspections per Quality Procedure
• Cleans machine and area according to schedule
• Completes all required tracking forms (Job Plan, Shift Run Report, Quality Sheet, and checklists)
• Ensures pre-setup tasks are completed for each order.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able to work night shift and 10-12 hour rotating shifts.

Skills

• Basic machine functions/good mechanical comprehension abilities
• Reading, writing, and arithmetic
• Read tape measure (Standard Tape Measure)
