The Peninsula Chicago is seeking a Busser who is highly organized and create a memorable guest experience.

Key Accountabilities:

• Responsible for activities related to service of the restaurant, which includes preparation tasks, training and performing service as per standards set by the hotel.
• Perform friendly, yet discreet and unobtrusive service in greeting, seating, and waiting on all guests.
• Perform pre-service and after-service procedures as per standards.
• Ensure a consistency of the correct service techniques for all meal periods.
• Have complete knowledge of all food and beverage items on the menu, including ingredients, methods of preparation. 
• Support servers during service when required by server or management, for instance pouring water, juice, coffee, clearing, etc.

 

General Requirements:

• Basic restaurant operation knowledge
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospitality service field
• Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
• Excellent written and spoken English
