As a Sr Specialist, Payroll/Benefits in Germany, you will be accountable for managing and overseeing the payroll and benefits processes for our employees in Germany. You will ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, wages, and benefits, while ensuring compliance with German payroll and benefits regulations. Your expertise in German payroll and benefits processes will be crucial in maintaining employee satisfaction and ensuring legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for employees in Germany, including data entry, calculations, and disbursements
  • Ensure compliance with German payroll and benefits regulations, including tax and social security requirements
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries, wages, and benefits to employees
  • Manage relationships with external payroll and benefits vendors
  • Respond to employee inquiries and resolve payroll and benefits-related issues
  • Work with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and implement best practices in payroll and benefits management
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of payroll and benefits operations

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in payroll and benefits management
  • Strong knowledge of payroll and benefits processes, laws, and regulations in Germany
  • Experience with German payroll software and systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving and thoughtful skills
