Hyperion Essbase Developer

Job Description

This position will lead the development of the financial system for the new Honeywell Aerospace Business. The roles immediate focus will be to setup a new EPM environment using a clone and cleanse strategy leveraging the following Hyperion technologies: Essbase, Hyperion Planning, FDMEE, EHM and CXO Cockpit.

Role will require strong mix of technical and functional skills, as it will require working directly with finance stakeholders and users while delivering technical solutions. Role will require management and development of a resources, plus hands on development work to meet deliverables.

Responsibilities may include, but is not limited to the following:

• Working with Finance stakeholders to document clear functional requirements
• Working with IT to translate functional requirements into clear technical requirements when necessary
• Project management activities such as scoping level of work, and building technical project plans and timelines
• Prepare key deliverables such as requirements documents, design documents, development inventory, test documentation, training materials and administration/procedural guides
• Design and implement technical solutions
• Partner with O&M team to ensure consistent solutions and clean hand-overs
• Working with both finance leaders and IT to test and refine new solutions prior to implementation

• Provide leadership and support to the business FP&A teams and leverage skills training and sharing of best practices

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 7+ of experience working with Finance Systems

• Significant hands-on experience with Essbase, HFM, FDMEE, EHM, Hyperion planning and reporting applications
