Honeywell’s Field Service Technicians are responsible for effectively providing services to support the on-site installation, upgrades, start-up, maintenance, and operation of automation control systems & advanced manufacturing software applications, drive systems, manufacturing systems, industrial networks and the individual products which comprise these systems.

You will focus on providing customers with maintenance and modernization services on Honeywell’s QCS (90% of the time) and EPKS/DCS (10% of the time) Platforms. The role requires you to be self-supporting and includes a site specific on-call coverage, on-site maintenance, performing system diagnostics & analysis, troubleshooting problems, installing new systems & replacing parts.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Continuously pass customer’s background checks and random drug testing.
- High School Diploma
- 2 years of professional experience in an engineering or technical field/and or Military experience in electronics programs may be considered equivalent to this typical qualification.
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- 2 years of experience using Basic Windows OS and Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems where Honeywell technology is installed will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software.
*Engineering or technical fields may include field service, technical operations, industrial maintenance, process automation, heavy manufacturing, prior military experience, development and/or reliability engineering, etc.

- Technical expertise in system hardware and software.
- Familiarity with Honeywell products and systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Commitment to obtain and maintain L3 CEAT certification within 18 months of hire (Training is given to achieve this)
- Experience with industrial process control field instrumentation

- Previous experience working in a Field Service Technician position

- Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills; capable of learning available analysis tools to solve complex system or process problems.

The annual base salary range for this position is $61,800- $77,200. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
