The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring products meet the highest quality standards. We are seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking Director of Software Engineering to lead our team in developing and deploying SaaS based Sustainability solutions by working closely with Business, Customer and Operations team. You will be responsible for overseeing a geographically diverse team that designs and builds licensable Software Solutions and Software Development Kits for Building Automation industry. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage a team of software engineers in the development of enabling SaaS solutions to help our customers to meet carbon neutrality and ESG goals • Lead and Manager cross functional teams (Quality, Site reliability Engineering, Dev Sec Ops, customer onboarding and success management teams • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the software development roadmap aligned to customer and marketing needs to drive organic growth • Drive innovation and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Sustainability and Building automation space • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members • Ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget and timeline constraints • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability considerations into product development, procurement, and operational practices. MUST HAVE • 15-20 years of Proven Software development and delivery management experience through key Leadership roles • Experience in working with Commercial, End Customers and Operations teams in driving the end to end commercialization of SaaS offering • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead teams in driving innovation and developing AI solutions and frameworks • Experience in designing and building licensable SaaS based Software Solutions for building automation industry • Certified Azure Solutions Architect, demonstrated ability to optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency.
