Job Title: Pre-Kindergarten Teacher
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Pre-Kindergarten Teacher to support the growth and development of young learners. The ideal candidate will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that fosters social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth in children ages 3–5.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and our curriculum
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence through play-based and structured learning activities
- Monitor and assess student progress
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and effective conscious discipline strategies
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school events
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment
Work Environment:
- Classroom-based setting with active, hands-on engagement
- May require lifting, bending, and extended periods of standing
