Mobile Diesel Mechanic

Location: Mount Vernon
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay: $40.31 per hour (DOE)
Benefits: Union Benefits & Pension, Company Truck & Cell Phone, Paid Weekly, Paid Time Off
Schedule: Monday to Friday (some weekends)
Shift: Swing Shift � 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM (with Overtime)

Your Role:

As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic, you'll play a vital role in keeping our fleet on the road. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting inspections, diagnostics, and routine maintenance on diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• Performing necessary repairs to ensure the safety and efficiency of our vehicles.
• May be called in early for equipment breakdowns and there will be some necessary OT.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 1+ years in commercial fleet maintenance.
• Skills: Welding certification and tool proficiency are a plus.
• Driving Record: A clean driving record is essential; CDL with a Tanker endorsement is preferred.
• Independence: Ability to work independently and tackle challenges head-on.
