Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Homologation Specialist for an on-site role located in the Pune Division. The responsibilities include coordinating and managing approval processes for vehicle and component homologation, interpreting and applying regulatory requirements, preparing comprehensive documentation, and liaising with testing agencies and regulatory authorities. The candidate will also oversee testing procedures, ensure compliance with standards, and provide guidance to stakeholders on homologation-related matters.
Qualifications
- Technical knowledge of automotive standards, homologation processes, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret and apply complex regulations
- Excellent documentation skills, including report preparation and technical writing
- Communication and collaboration skills to effectively liaise with testing agencies, suppliers, and regulatory bodies
- Proficiency in software tools relevant to data analysis, documentation creation, and project management
- Independent working skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or related engineering field is required
- Prior experience in homologation or regulatory roles within the automotive industry is a strong advantage
