Job Description
Position Summary
The Sales & Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing daily business operations, sales performance, client experience, team management, and process development across a fast-paced real estate photography and marketing company. This role manages cross-functional teams, drives operational efficiency, supports company growth initiatives, and ensures high-quality service delivery while meeting financial and performance goals. The position also leverages technology and AI-driven solutions to improve operational systems, automate workflows, enhance reporting, and increase overall efficiency across departments.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple departments including sales, scheduling, photography, editing, design, and administrative support
- Manage workflows, staffing coordination, scheduling systems, and operational processes to ensure efficiency and service consistency
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and performance standards
- Monitor company performance metrics, operational bottlenecks, and service quality to improve productivity and client satisfaction
- Coordinate nationwide operational expansion and support multi-state service coverage
Sales & Business Development
- Lead and manage sales initiatives, pipeline tracking, and client acquisition strategies
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members while establishing KPIs and accountability standards
- Analyze market trends and pricing strategies to improve competitiveness and close rates
- Maintain relationships with high-value accounts and ensure long-term client retention
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth, operational scaling, and process improvement
Financial & Performance Oversight
- Track daily revenue, expenses, margins, and financial performance reporting
- Support budgeting, pricing structures, contractor pay models, and profitability analysis
- Develop tools and systems that improve financial accuracy and reduce approval bottlenecks
- Assist executive leadership with operational reporting and strategic planning
Team Leadership & Staff Development
- Supervise and support cross-functional teams including photographers, editors, designers, sales staff, and administrative personnel
- Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management initiatives
- Conduct performance reviews, implement improvement plans, and foster accountability across departments
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and external consultants to improve operational outcomes
Systems, Technology & AI Integration
- Partner with developers and technology teams to improve automation, scheduling systems, reporting tools, and CRM functionality
- Identify and implement AI-driven solutions to streamline workflows, improve communication, reduce manual tasks, and enhance operational efficiency
- Utilize AI and automation tools to improve reporting accuracy, customer experience, internal processes, and team productivity
- Implement operational systems that improve workflow visibility, scalability, and performance tracking
- Streamline onboarding documentation, contractor agreements, and internal procedures
Client Experience
- Serve as a primary point of contact for major client accounts and operational escalations
- Ensure exceptional service delivery and issue resolution across all client touchpoints
- Develop and manage customer feedback systems to improve satisfaction and online reputation
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management, sales leadership, business administration, or a related field
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments
- Experience utilizing technology, automation, and AI tools to improve operational systems and workflow efficiency preferred
- Knowledge of CRM systems, scheduling software, and operational reporting tools
- Financial tracking, budgeting, and performance analysis experience preferred
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support business growth initiatives
