Credit Analyst
Department: Loans
Reports to: SVP/Senior Lending Officer
Supervises: None
Summary: Evaluates the financial condition of individuals and businesses that apply for credit. Performs annual reviews for existing large and moderate credits.
Specific Job Functions:
- Analyze current and historical financial data, business plans, projections, collateral, etc. for a new loan request and make recommendations based on findings
- Analyze current and historical financial data, performance history, collateral position, etc. for renewals or annual review
- Perform annual financial reviews on large lines credits and make recommendations for loan grading
- Assists loan officers with financial interpretation as needed
- Other duties as assigned by Senior Management

Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting (emphasis in tax return analysis a plus)
- Good financial analytical abilities
- Ability to analyze data and make recommendations on a request for credit
- Good computer skills and ability to operate various computer programs
