Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and nurturing Homeroom Teacher for the Early Years Programme (EYP) who can create a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for young learners. The candidate should have a strong understanding of early childhood education, child-centered teaching practices, and age-appropriate pedagogy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based and inquiry-driven learning experiences
- Ensure holistic development of children (social, emotional, cognitive, physical)
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
- Observe, assess, and document student progress regularly
- Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication
- Collaborate with co-teachers and coordinators for curriculum planning
- Manage classroom routines, behavior, and student well-being
- Organize and participate in school events and activities
Requirements:
- Graduate/Postgraduate with NTT / Montessori / ECCEd or relevant qualification
- Minimum 3 to 4 years of experience in early years teaching
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Understanding of experiential and play-based learning approaches
- Passion for working with young children
