Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Homeroom Teacher at Rathinam International Public School, located in Coimbatore North. The Homeroom Teacher will be responsible for leading a class of students, delivering engaging lessons across multiple subjects, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Daily tasks include creating lesson plans, managing the classroom, assessing student progress, and providing individual support as needed. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with fellow educators, communicating with parents, and contributing to co-curricular and extracurricular activities to support overall student development.
Qualifications
- Strong teaching skills, including the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons across multiple subjects
- Proficiency in classroom management, student assessment, and fostering positive learning environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with parents, colleagues, and students
- Organizational and time-management skills to create and manage lesson plans effectively
- Adaptability, patience, and a student-centered approach to teaching
- Relevant teaching certifications or degrees such as a Bachelor's in Education or a related field
- Prior experience in teaching or education is preferred but not mandatory
