Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Home Tutor, based in Srinagar. As a Home Tutor, your primary responsibilities will include providing one-on-one tutoring sessions to students across a variety of subjects, preparing customized lesson plans, identifying the individual learning needs of students, and monitoring their academic progress. You will also work to foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in teaching core subjects such as Mathematics, Science, and Language Arts
- Ability to create personalized lesson plans and deliver customized tutoring services
- Strong communication skills and aptitude for engaging with students of different age groups
- Experience in classroom management and student progression tracking
- Patience, adaptability, and a dedication to supporting students' educational growth
- Knowledge of local curriculum standards preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, the subject of expertise, or a related field
- Prior teaching or tutoring experience is a strong advantage
- Reliable transportation for travel to students' homes within Srinagar
