LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

We are seeking a highly-skilled and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing healthcare team. Under the supervision of the head nurse, you will care for excellent care for patients and tend to their general comfort and well-being. Job duties include taking vital signs, changing bandages, administering medications, and monitoring the patient’s behavior for notable changes. Our ideal candidate has a compassionate attitude coupled with an impeccable bedside manner, as well as an ability to work in a fast-past environment.

 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as LPN in state of Indiana.
• Current CPR. Prefer one year minimum of clinical experience;
• prefer past experience in home care.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work as team member.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Provides skilled nursing care in patient's place of residence and facilitates coordination under direction of RN and/or Physician.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to: squat, bend, kneel, twist;
• push/pull 50 lbs.; lift/carry 25 lbs.;
• wear respirator for patient care.
• Visual and hearing sufficient to provide patient care.
• Ability to drive car and/or arrange own transportation

Provides Medicare-certified home health nursing and medical care.
