Role Description The Home Automation Integrator and KNX Integrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves designing, configuring, and installing home automation and KNX systems, including lighting, HVAC, security, and access control integrations. The integrator will read and interpret wiring diagrams and system layouts, program devices and controllers, and ensure all components are correctly networked and functional. Daily responsibilities include commissioning systems, performing functional and integration tests, troubleshooting technical issues on-site, and documenting configurations and changes. The role also requires collaborating with project managers, electricians, and vendors, providing user training to clients, and supporting ongoing maintenance and system upgrades to ensure reliable performance.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Process Automation and Automation for designing and integrating smart home and KNX solutions.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in automation systems.
- Experience creating and executing Test Cases and applying Quality Assurance practices to validate system stability and performance.
- Working knowledge of KNX standards and protocols, with experience in KNX configuration tools and related field devices.
- Solid understanding of low-voltage electrical systems, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routers, switches), and IoT devices.
- Ability to read technical drawings, wiring schematics, and installation plans, with attention to detail and safety compliance.
- Effective communication and client-facing skills to explain system functions, train users, and document work clearly.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage time across multiple projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or related field preferred; relevant certifications in KNX or home automation are an advantage.
- Prior experience in home automation, building management systems, or related integration work is highly beneficial.
