Position Summary
The Director of Student Services and Accreditation provides district-wide leadership and oversight for student support services and accreditation processes within the Holmes County Consolidated School District. Reporting directly to the Executive Director of Operations, the Director ensures compliance with accreditation standards, supports effective student service operations, and collaborates with district and school leaders to promote efficient systems that positively impact student success and operational effectiveness.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for district student services functions, including discipline, attendance, and reporting.
- Support the Executive Director of Operations in advancing district operational goals and compliance initiatives.
- Coordinate and manage district accreditation processes and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Mississippi Department of Education accreditation standards and reporting requirements.
- Serve as the district liaison for accreditation reviews, audits, and monitoring visits.
- Collaborate with principals and district staff to ensure accurate and timely data collection and reporting.
- Develop and maintain systems, procedures, and timelines to support accreditation compliance.
- Provide guidance and training to school-based personnel regarding student services processes and accreditation requirements.
- Monitor data accuracy related to enrollment, attendance, graduation, and accountability reporting.
- Assist with the development and implementation of district policies and procedures related to student services.
- Support operational alignment between instructional, student services, and accountability functions.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Director of Operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field.
- Valid Mississippi Educator License or eligibility for appropriate licensure (preferred for education-based candidates).
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in education, student services, accountability, or related operational roles.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Mississippi accreditation standards and student data reporting requirements.
- Experience working with student information systems and compliance documentation.
- District-level administrative experience.
- Experience coordinating accreditation processes or accountability reporting.

Contract and Salary
- 230 Days per year
- Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and consistent with district administrative salary schedules
