About the role

Overview: We are seeking a skilled IT Business Analyst with extensive experience in Workday, specifically on the HR side, to join our team for a 6-month contract with the potential for extension. This role involves supporting the implementation of Workday (core HCM) to replace several applications, including PeopleSoft. The go-live date is set for the end of December, and we are currently developing integration and preparing to start testing. You will be working alongside two other Business Analysts and a Product Owner to ensure a smooth transition and provide ongoing support post-implementation. Responsibilities: Assist in the implementation and support of Workday HCM modules. Collaborate with HR and IT teams to gather and document business requirements. Participate in the development and testing of Workday integrations. Collaborate with the team to develop and test integrations. Organize and manage integration test cases. Write and validate test cases, support developers in unit testing, and ensure data structure accuracy. Compare output and support the business in validating test cases. Work closely with technical teams, developers, and business units (HR and Talent) to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support. Maintain documentation of business processes and system configurations. Communicate effectively with technical teams, developers, and business units to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support. Required Skills: Extensive experience as a Senior Business Systems Business Analyst. Proven experience with Workday, specifically in HR (not finance). Implementation, integration, and testing expertise. Strong ability to organize and manage integration test cases. Proficiency in writing test cases, supporting developers in unit testing, understanding data structures, and validating test cases. Excellent communication skills to work effectively with technical teams, developers, and business units (HR and Talent).
