As a Graduate Engineer Trainee (Software Development), you will be an integral part of the technology team, working on enterprise-grade software applications and digital platforms. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable and robust solutions that support business needs across multiple domains. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh graduates with strong analytical thinking, an understanding of software development basics, and a willingness to learn new technologies and development practices. It provides an excellent platform to build a strong foundation in full-stack development, cloud services, DevOps, and agile delivery. Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing applications using Java, Python, .NET, or similar technologies. Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews. Support database operations (SQL queries, stored procedures). Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers, testers, and product owners. Use Git/GitHub for version control and contribute to CI/CD pipelines. Document code, user stories, and technical resolutions. Stay updated with new technologies and apply learnings to projects. Skills & Competencies: Proficient in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, etc.) Understanding of databases (SQL/MySQL/CosmosDB). Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, and Git-based workflows. Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Effective communication and a collaborative attitude. Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced tech environment. Problem-Solving: Analyze user requirements and identify areas for improvement. Approach challenges with a logical and analytical mindset. Propose innovative solutions to technical problems. Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to learn from feedback and new situations. Nice to Have: Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) or tools like Azure DevOps, BOOMI. Internship or project experience in software development.
