Hiring: HOD – STEAM Toys
Kindly Note:
- Qualification: M. Design / MBA / Postgraduate in Marketing, Business Management, or related field
- Experience: 8 – 12 years in Business Development / Product Management
- Industry Preference: Prior experience in STEAM Toys, Educational Products, Stationery, EdTech, or FMCG industry preferred
- Compensation: Salary range between 25 – 30 LPA
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets.
- Identify and expand new business opportunities across schools, educational institutions, distributors, retailers, modern trade, and e-commerce channels.
- Build and manage key accounts, strategic partnerships, and distribution networks.
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and business agreements.
- Drive geographic expansion and new channel development initiatives.
2. Product Strategy & Product Experience
- Manage end-to-end product lifecycle activities from concept development to launch and post-launch evaluation.
- Collaborate closely with Product, R&D, and Design teams to ensure products align with market demand and educational relevance.
- Provide market insights to support product innovation, packaging enhancements, pricing strategies, and feature improvements.
- Analyze product performance, SKU profitability, and sales trends to optimize product portfolio.
- Participate in product demonstrations, exhibitions, customer trials, and educator workshops.
- Ensure alignment of products with evolving STEAM learning methodologies and curriculum standards.
3. Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning
- Conduct detailed market research to analyze competitor products, pricing benchmarks, customer insights, and industry trends.
- Develop effective go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
- Monitor sales performance, margins, and ROI of business initiatives.
- Provide strategic recommendations for long-term category growth and market expansion.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Marketing teams for campaign planning, brand positioning, and promotional activities.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and Operations for inventory planning and demand forecasting.
- Work closely with Finance teams on pricing strategies and cost optimization initiatives.
5. Reporting & Team Leadership
- Prepare business reviews, sales forecasts, MIS reports, and performance dashboards for senior management.
- Track key business KPIs including revenue growth, profitability, market share, and product performance.
- Lead, mentor, and guide the business development team to achieve organizational goals.
