Shivalik University invites applications from highly qualified, experienced, and research-oriented academicians for the positions of Head of Department (HOD) and Professor in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE). The selected candidate will provide academic leadership, promote research excellence, and contribute to the overall growth of the department.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
• Lead the academic and administrative functions of the ECE Department.
• Deliver high-quality teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Develop and implement the curriculum in line with AICTE/UGC guidelines and Outcome-Based Education (OBE).
• Mentor faculty members, research scholars, and students.
• Promote quality research through publications, funded projects, patents, and consultancy.
• Establish strong industry collaborations to enhance internships, placements, and collaborative research.
• Plan and organize FDPs, workshops, seminars, conferences, and technical events.
• Ensure compliance with AICTE, UGC, NBA, NAAC, and other statutory requirements.
• Drive departmental growth through academic planning, accreditation, innovation, and continuous quality improvement.
𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲
• Ph.D. in Electronics & Communication Engineering or a relevant specialization.
• Qualification and experience as per AICTE/UGC norms.
• Strong academic background with an excellent research and publication record.
• Proven leadership and administrative experience is essential for the HOD position.
• Experience in accreditation, institutional development, and industry collaboration will be preferred.

• Academic leadership and team management.
• Excellent teaching and mentoring abilities.
• Strong research and publication profile.
