Are you a passionate educator with strong academic leadership skills and a commitment to excellence in English language education? The Lexicon International School, Kalyani Nagar, is looking for experienced professionals to join our academic team as Head of Department- English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the English Department across classes II to XII.
- Design, implement, and monitor curriculum plans aligned with educational standards.
- Mentor and support English teachers through regular observations, feedback, and professional development initiatives.
- Drive academic excellence and improve student outcomes in Grades IX–XII.
- Coordinate assessments, examinations, and departmental activities.
- Foster innovative teaching methodologies and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with school leadership to achieve academic goals.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master's Degree in English (M.A. English) – Mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, preferably handling Grades IX–XII.
- Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum frameworks and assessment practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to drive academic excellence and student achievement.
- Experience in curriculum planning, teacher mentoring, and academic quality assurance will be preferred.
