Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Redmond, WA
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $26–$30 per hour (DOE)
Bonus: $500 retention bonus after 90 days
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (some evenings/weekends as needed)
Reports To: Facilities Manager


Position Summary: 
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and repair of community facilities and amenities. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent service in a safe and well-maintained environment.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems.
  • Complete work orders and respond to maintenance requests.
  • Assist with pool maintenance and facility upkeep (CPO preferred). 
  • Perform general repairs (carpentry, painting, drywall, janitorial).
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of supplies.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
  • Ensure facilities are clean, safe, and operational.

Qualifications: 
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3–5 years of maintenance experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
  • Building maintenance/janitorial experience required.
  • CPO certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Good communication and customer service skills. 
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and professional.

Physical Requirements: 
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally.
  • Frequent standing, bending, climbing ladders, and manual labor.
  • Exposure to outdoor conditions, equipment, and chemicals.
