Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your software development expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a key role in designing and developing the ATS HMI (Automatic Train Supervision Human-Machine Interface) for various projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as the ICC Project Leader, Product Architect, Designers, Quality Manager, Safety Assurance Manager, and the Integration and V&V team), contribute to HMI software specifications and architecture, and ensure development processes are adhered to, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of designing HMI graphics (symbols/mimics) and developing HMI software modules, but also support the ATS integration and V&V teams.
We’ll look to you for:
- Contributing to the elaboration of HMI software specifications and architecture in collaboration with the architect
- Developing and designing HMI graphics, including symbols and mimics
- Performing detailed design and coding of HMI software modules
- Working closely with the ATS leader and all relevant stakeholders
- Ensuring adherence to HMI development processes during the development lifecycle
- Managing work products under configuration management as per the product Configuration Management Plan
- Providing support to ATS integration and V&V teams

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience in software design and development
- Proficiency in VBA, VBS, and VB6.0 on Windows OS
- Strong debugging skills for VBA, VBS, and VB6.0 applications
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
- Knowledge of SCADA systems and their high-level architecture
- Familiarity with OPC protocol
- Understanding of change request cycles for bug logging
- Experience with requirements management in DOORS
- Ability to work in distributed teams
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Proactive mindset with strong initiative and customer focus
- Good decision-making skills
Nice to have:
- Experience with railway signalling HMI
- SCADA component development experience
