Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled HMC Operator to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chakan. The HMC Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating Horizontal Machining Centers (HMC), monitoring production processes, ensuring precision and quality standards, performing routine maintenance, and troubleshooting technical issues. The role requires collaboration with relevant teams to ensure smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and programming Horizontal Machining Centers (HMC), including interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong understanding of machine tools, cutting methods, and measuring equipment for quality control.
- Knowledge of CNC programming and the ability to read G-code and M-code effectively.
- Experience in identifying and troubleshooting technical issues related to machinery and production processes.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain precision and accuracy in machining tasks.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Diploma/ITI certification in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die making, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Prior experience operating HMC or other CNC machinery will be considered an advantage.
- Willingness to adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
