Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a History Teacher at Hebron School, located in Ooty, Tamil Nadu. The History Teacher will deliver engaging lessons, create lesson plans, and contribute to curriculum development focusing on World History and American History. Responsibilities will include preparing students for IGCSE and GCE Advanced Level examinations, evaluating student progress, and fostering a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment. The candidate will also collaborate with other faculty members to support the overall academic growth of the students.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in European and Indian History
- Proven skills in Lesson Planning and History Education
- Experience in Curriculum Development, particularly for IGCSE and GCE Advanced Level standards
- Passion for fostering critical thinking and engaging teaching methods
- Bachelor's degree or higher in History or a related field
- Teaching certification or equivalent qualification is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Adaptability to an international educational environment and diverse student body
