About the Role
We are looking for a passionate History Communicator who can bring history alive for the public through engaging storytelling, programs, and educational content. The role involves researching historical topics, creating compelling content, conducting talks and workshops, and helping organize history-based events and outreach programs, requiring both strong verbal and written skills.
Key Responsibilities
Public Communication
● Deliver talks, workshops, and interactive sessions on historical themes.
● Present historical stories through storytelling, presentations, or digital media.
● Engage with diverse audiences, including students, educators, and the general public.
Program & Event Management
● Assist in planning and executing history-based events, workshops, and exhibitions.
● Coordinate with speakers, historians, and collaborators for events and programs.
● Support outreach initiatives in schools, institutions, and community spaces.
Community Engagement
● Help build networks with educators, historians, and cultural institutions.
● Represent the organization at public programs and heritage-related events.
● Support social media or digital storytelling initiatives related to history.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in Humanities. A degree in History is preferred.
● Strong knowledge and interest in Indian history and heritage.
● 1–2 years of experience in content writing, public speaking, or educational programs.
● Experience in event management or community outreach is a plus.
