Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gwalior for a Hiring Telecaller and Counsellor. The role involves making outbound calls to potential candidates, explaining available job and training opportunities, and answering questions about company services and hiring processes. The Telecaller and Counsellor will screen and qualify candidates, schedule interviews, maintain accurate records in the database, and follow up to ensure a smooth candidate experience. The position also includes counselling candidates on suitable roles or training programs based on their skills and aspirations, providing clear communication about next steps, and collaborating with the recruitment and training teams to meet hiring and enrollment targets. The role requires consistent coordination, professional communication, and adherence to company policies and ethical standards in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including clear telephone etiquette and the ability to build rapport with candidates and clients.
- Ability to conduct telecalling, explain services or roles, address queries, and provide guidance and counselling to potential candidates.
- Basic knowledge of recruitment or hiring processes, including candidate screening, interview scheduling, and follow-up communication.
- Comfort with using computers, CRM tools, and office applications for data entry, candidate tracking, and reporting.
- Good organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple calls, follow-ups, and targets efficiently.
- Minimum educational qualification: bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent; freshers and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
- Fluency in Hindi and proficiency in English (spoken and written); additional local language skills are an advantage.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to learn about IT, training, and staffing services to better counsel candidates.
