Job Description
Job Title: RShiny Developer
Experience: 5–8 Years
Location: Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Gurgaon (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced RShiny Developer with strong expertise in R programming, data analytics, and interactive dashboard development. The role involves building scalable Shiny applications, working with large datasets, and delivering data-driven insights for business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive web applications using RShiny and ShinyProxy
- Build data-driven dashboards and analytical models using R
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and preprocessing for analysis
- Collaborate with data analysts, engineers, and business teams
- Apply statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to derive insights
- Optimize R scripts and Shiny applications for performance and scalability
- Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party tools
- Ensure code quality, version control, and documentation standards
Key Skills Required
- Strong expertise in R programming and RShiny
- Experience with packages like ggplot2, dplyr, tidyr
- Good understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling
- Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases
- Knowledge of ShinyProxy deployment
- Experience with data visualization and dashboarding
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript for UI enhancements
- Exposure to Hadoop/Spark is a plus
- Experience with Git/version control
- Knowledge of Python/Java is an added advantage
Educational Qualification
- BE/BTech/MTech in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
