We are looking for experienced Prior Authorization Specialists to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have strong RCM knowledge and hands-on experience managing payer authorization workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review patient medical records and provider documentation to identify prior authorization requirements.
- Initiate and submit authorization requests through payer portals, calls, or fax.
- Proactively follow up with insurance providers to track status and expedite approvals.
- Handle pending and denied cases, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience in Prior Authorization / Revenue Cycle Management
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS).
- Experience working with commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers
- Solid understanding of medical necessity criteria and payer-specific authorization workflows.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and follow-up skills
