I’m the founder of Mate Technologies and creator of Thermer.
I’m looking for a high-judgment Hiring Partner who can run hiring on my behalf, using my direction and standards, and help me hire aligned, high-performing, long-term candidates.
⚠️ This is not a payroll, policy, or HR operations role.
If your background is mainly compliance or coordination, this role is not for you.
Note: This is a freelancer / hourly basis job

- Hire candidates who are truly aligned with the role, responsibilities, and current company culture
- Reduce my time spent on hiring without lowering quality
- Improve performance quality and retention through correct role fit
You are measured by quality, alignment, and retention — not speed or volume.
🧩 Key Responsibilities
- Execute alignment-driven hiring and reject skilled but misaligned candidates
- Apply my direction (requirements, skills, evaluation criteria, sample questions) to hire efficiently
- Run interviews independently and evaluate:
- Skill depth
- Thinking clarity
- Ownership & accountability
- Communication & instruction-following
- Manage and evaluate paid test assignments objectively
- Submit evidence-based evaluation reports with a clear recommendation:
- Hire / Borderline / Reject
- Improve hiring accuracy using early post-hire signals (30 / 60 / 90 days)
📈 Success Metrics
- Quality of output from hired candidates
- Alignment with role expectations
- Early performance indicators (30/60/90 days)
- Retention driven by correct role fit
- Reduction in founder interview time
- Accuracy of hiring recommendations
💡 Required (Non-Negotiable)
- 2+ years of hands-on hiring or recruiting experience
- Strong evaluation and questioning skills (beyond CV screening)
- Ability to judge alignment + execution, not confidence alone
- Clear written communication and structured thinking
- Ethical backbone — no shortcuts or favoritism
Startup or product-company hiring experience is a strong plus.
