Role Description
White Horse Manpower is seeking a full-time Hiring Lead Accountant to join our client’s office in Pune Division. The role involves managing general ledger accounting, cost and lease accounting, and ensuring compliance with controllership standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, managing lease accounting activities, performing cost analysis, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and adherence to policies.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in general ledger accounting and preparation of financial statements
- Proficiency in cost accounting and lease accounting practices
- Experience in controllership, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
- 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience
- Proficient in financial software and tools
- Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with applicable accounting standards and regulations
Lead Accountant - General Ledger,
Controllership,4-6 years,12 LPA,Pune
University graduate with minimum of 15 years of education with Bachelors/Masters Degree in Commerce
• 4-6 years of F&A experience of which 2+ years of GL experience.
• Proven people management skills
• Functional / domain knowledge in F&A processes, good analytical & aptitude skills
• Experience on process simplification / transformation.
• Strong team leading and motivational skills, performance reporting and tracking, derive performance improvement ideas
• Ability to multi task, prioritize activities & meeting deadlines
• Fluency in English language
Execute day to day operational tasks such as Journal Entries, Reconciliations, Consolidations, Month end close activities, fixed assets, Cost Accounting, Project Accounting
• Managing team
• Identify and execute transformation projects
• Act as a knowledge manager (Documentation, updating, version control)
• Ensure quality of the deliverables
• Motivate the team to meet and exceed SLAs
• Ability to lead and motivate team to achieve performance goals
• Deploy and monitor process controls, quality assurance plans and risk mitigation initiatives
• Manage delivery of GL services as per the agreement
