Role Overview
We are looking for a QA Engineer (Fresher) who will help ensure the quality of our healthcare platform used by doctors and patients.
The candidate will work on testing web applications, mobile apps, APIs, and end-to-end healthcare workflows such as appointment booking, doctor dashboards, and patient management.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in software testing, product quality, and automation testing.
Key Responsibilities
1. Functional Testing
- Understand product requirements and healthcare workflows.
- Write and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Verify new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
- Conduct regression testing before releases.
2. Mobile App Testing
- Test Android and iOS applications across multiple devices.
- Validate UI/UX behavior, responsiveness, and performance.
- Test mobile-specific features such as:
- Login / OTP verification
- Appointment booking flow
- Notifications
- App navigation
- Identify device compatibility issues.
3. Healthcare Workflow Testing
Test real-world flows like:
- Patient appointment booking
- Doctor profile and availability
- Clinic management
- Patient record and consultation flow
- Appointment cancellation / rescheduling
- Payments and confirmations
Ensure these workflows work smoothly end-to-end.
4. API Testing
- Perform API testing using Postman.
- Validate API responses, status codes, and data accuracy.
- Test integration between frontend and backend APIs.
5. Bug Tracking and Reporting
- Identify, document, and track bugs and defects.
- Create clear bug reports with steps, screenshots, and logs.
- Use tools like Jira / Azure DevOps.
6. Automation Testing (Basic)
- Assist in automation test script creation.
- Execute automated regression tests.
- Learn and work with tools such as:
- Selenium
- Cypress
- Playwright
- Appium (for mobile automation)
7. Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Developers
- Product Managers
- Designers
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings:
- Sprint planning
- Daily standups
- Sprint reviews
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Software Testing concepts.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Understanding of manual testing and bug reporting.
- Basic knowledge of web application testing.
- Basic knowledge of mobile app testing.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
- Basic knowledge of automation testing tools
- Selenium

- Playwright
- Appium
- Basic knowledge of API testing (Postman).
- Basic knowledge of SQL queries for data validation.
- Familiarity with Git / version control.

Educational Qualification
- B.Tech / B.E / BCA / MCA / BSc (Computer Science / IT)
- or related technical field.
