Job Summary
A Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Logistics / Shipping is responsible for handling customer communication, coordinating shipment activities, managing documentation, and ensuring smooth logistics operations. The role requires strong coordination skills, customer handling abilities, and knowledge of import/export processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle customer queries through calls, emails, and other communication channels
• Coordinate with operations teams, shipping lines, agents, and transporters
• Track import/export shipments and provide timely status updates to customers
• Manage shipping documentation such as BL, invoices, delivery orders, and related documents
• Resolve customer concerns and maintain strong client relationships
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, customer interactions, and operations
• Ensure timely follow-up on shipment schedules and operational activities
• Coordinate internally to ensure smooth logistics and delivery processes
• Support daily logistics operations and customer service activities
• Ensure compliance with company processes and operational standards
Requirements & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• 1–2 years of experience in Logistics, Shipping, or Freight Forwarding
• Knowledge of import/export procedures and shipping documentation
• Good English communication and customer handling skills
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and email handling
• Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment
• Good organizational and multitasking skills
