We're building OmniChain, a Layer-1 network with its native coin, Nishk (NISHK).
The idea is to combine proven designs rather than invent new ones:
⚡ DAG-based consensus with sub-second finality
🔐 Privacy by default, with selective disclosure on demand
🌉 Trust-minimized interoperability without custodial bridges
🛡️ Post-quantum signatures from genesis
📦 Constant-size recursive proofs of chain state
The whitepaper is public and says plainly what is proven and what is still research.
We'll hand you a full technical spec.
What you'll do:
Design and run devnets and testnets: bootstrap nodes, validator sets, and network upgrades
Build CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code for node software.
Stress-test P2P networking: gossip, latency, partitions, and fault injection
Set up monitoring, alerting, and incident response for a live distributed network.
You have:
Deep knowledge of P2P networks and distributed systems.
Production experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
Strong Linux and networking fundamentals, plus scripting in Go or Rust.
Blockchain experience: running validators, nodes, or testnets (strongly preferred)
Observability skills: Prometheus and Grafana
Bonus: exposure to consensus protocols, zk-proof infrastructure, or Cosmos/IBC.
Alumni of blockchain labs, such as IIT Kanpur or IIT Kharagpur, are especially welcome.
