Role Description
We are seeking a CELPIP Exam Tutor for a full-time, REMOTE position. The CELPIP Exam Tutor will be responsible for preparing students for the CELPIP test by developing lesson plans, delivering interactive sessions, and providing individualized feedback. Key responsibilities include guiding students through exam strategies, conducting mock tests, assessing progress, and offering actionable recommendations to enhance performance. The tutor will also stay updated on CELPIP curriculum changes and ensure that teaching methodologies align with the exam requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in English language teaching, including grammar, vocabulary, and writing skills
- Proficient in tutoring CELPIP exam preparation, including test structure, timing, and essential strategies
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to assess student performance and provide tailored feedback
- Familiarity with adult learning methodologies and adaptive teaching techniques
- Prior experience in language proficiency exams like CELPIP, IELTS, or TOEFL preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or related field (TESOL or CELTA certification is a plus)
- A strong motivation to help students achieve success in their language proficiency goals
