Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gwalior for a Business Development Executive and Telecaller. The role involves identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and professional networking. Responsibilities include generating and nurturing leads, scheduling and conducting client meetings or demos, and supporting end-to-end sales activities from initial contact to closure. The position requires maintaining accurate records of interactions in CRM or tracking tools, following up consistently with prospects, and coordinating with internal teams to align solutions with client requirements. The role also includes handling inbound inquiries, providing clear and professional communication, and meeting or exceeding individual and team targets.
Qualifications
- Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with the ability to identify, qualify, and convert prospects into clients.
- Business acumen and basic understanding of services such as training, software development, and staffing to present solutions effectively.
- Clear and confident communication skills, including telephone etiquette, email writing, and presentation abilities.
- Account management capabilities to maintain relationships, manage client expectations, and support repeat or upsell opportunities.
- Prior experience in business development, inside sales, or telecalling (preferably in IT, training, or staffing services) is an advantage.
- Comfort using CRM tools, spreadsheets, and online communication platforms for tracking and reporting.
- Ability to work from the Gwalior office, meet performance targets, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, though relevant experience will also be considered.
