Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Bluetooth Testing Engineers based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. The role involves designing, executing, and maintaining test cases for Bluetooth features and functionalities across various platforms and devices. Responsibilities include performing functional testing, regression testing, and system-level validation, as well as documenting test results, defects, and test coverage. The engineer will collaborate closely with development, firmware, and hardware teams to reproduce issues, analyze logs, and drive timely resolutions. The role also involves contributing to test planning, improving test automation coverage where applicable, and ensuring that Bluetooth features meet performance, interoperability, and quality requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Test Engineering, including understanding of test methodologies, test planning, and quality assurance practices.
- Hands-on experience with Test Execution and Test Cases, including creating, reviewing, and maintaining manual and/or automated test suites.
- Proficiency in Testing and Functional Testing, with the ability to validate Bluetooth features, edge cases, and interoperability scenarios.
- Knowledge of Bluetooth protocols, profiles (e.g., BLE, audio profiles), and debugging tools such as sniffers, logs, and analyzers.
- 1–3 years of experience in software or embedded system testing, preferably in wireless or connectivity domains.
- Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar) and basic scripting skills are an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
