Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Professor position in the Department of Computer Science/Information Technology at Amity University, located in Ranchi. The assistant professor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, developing and updating course materials, engaging in active research, and mentoring students. Additional responsibilities include participating in academic activities, curriculum planning, and contributing to departmental and institutional growth.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background and expertise in Computer Science and Data Science.
- Proficiency in Programming and Cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Experience in Curriculum Development, with a focus on designing innovative and industry-relevant modules.
- Commitment to integrating research and teaching to advance knowledge in the field of Computer Science/Information Technology.
- PhD (Pursuing, Completed, or Thesis Submitted) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Effective communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals and active involvement in academic research are advantageous.
