Role Description
Amity University is seeking a dedicated and academically driven Assistant Professor in Computer Science to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is based on-site at the Mohali campus. The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching core and elective computer science subjects, developing engaging and research-aligned curricula, mentoring students, guiding research projects, and publishing high-quality academic research. The role will contribute to the development of innovative teaching methodologies, participate in departmental activities, and collaborate in research initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong academic background in Computer Science with expertise in Data Science and Cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in Programming and ability to integrate coding expertise into teaching and research.
- Experience in Curriculum Development and ability to design innovative and practical course content.
- Effective communication, research publication, and academic mentorship skills.
- Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Computer Science, either completed or with thesis submitted, from a recognized institution.
- Experience in teaching or academic research roles is preferred.
- Interdisciplinary knowledge and collaborative research capabilities are advantageous.
