Role Description
Amity University is seeking a dedicated Assistant Professor/Associate Professor in Computer Science/Information Technology for our Hyderabad campus. This is a full-time, on-site role. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lectures, developing course materials, mentoring students, engaging in research and development activities, and contributing to academic administration. Additional responsibilities may include conducting seminars, participating in conferences, and collaborating on institutional research projects to enhance the university’s academic offerings.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in teaching methodologies, including Assistant Teaching, and a passion for mentoring students.
- Excellent Communication skills to facilitate effective instruction, research presentations, and collaboration with peers.
- A solid foundation in Education and curriculum development for Computer Science/Information Technology courses.
- Proficiency in Mathematics and analytical skills relevant to the field of Computer Science/Information Technology.
- Ability to work effectively with students and nurture their academic and professional growth.
- PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field (essential for Associate Professor role; desirable for Assistant Professor role).
- A proven track record of academic research and publications in reputed journals is highly desirable.
- Experience in programming, software development, or information systems is an asset.
- Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and promoting a culture of academic excellence.
