Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Hiring Assistant Fashion Designer located in New Delhi. The Hiring Assistant Fashion Designer will assist the lead designer in creating fashion collections, selecting fabrics, managing fittings, and overseeing garment construction processes. The role also involves coordinating with production teams, ensuring the quality of patterns and designs, and keeping up-to-date with the latest fashion trends and industry innovations.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Fashion Design, styles, and aesthetics
- Experience with Embroidery and Textile selection
- Proficiency in garment Fitting and familiarity with production processes
- Keen interest in staying updated with current trends in fashion
- Organizational and communication skills for coordinating with various teams
- Knowledge of design tools or software is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Fashion Design or a related
Key Responsibilities
• Create Tech Packs with complete garment details
• Prepare garment specifications and measurement charts
• Perform artwork grading as per size chart
• Create garment mockups and placement artworks
• Coordinate with the design team for product development
Requirements
• Good knowledge of garment construction
• Strong skills in Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / CorelDRAW
• Understanding of size grading and measurements
• Good communication and coordination skills
