📢 Hiring: Agroforestry / Plantation Specialist | Delhi
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Agroforestry Professional to join our team for large-scale afforestation, reforestation, and urban plantation projects across India.
Educational Qualification:
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Agroforestry, Forestry, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Experience:
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in planning and execution of large-scale tree plantation projects.
• Hands-on experience in forest restoration, compensatory afforestation, urban forestry, Miyawaki plantations, and landscape greening initiatives.
• Experience in working with government agencies, local communities, NGOs, and plantation contractors will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Planning, execution, and monitoring of large-scale plantation projects.
• Identification and sourcing of quality saplings from nurseries and growers.
• Selection of suitable native species based on ecological and climatic conditions.
• Vendor and nursery management for timely procurement of planting material.
• Site assessment, plantation design, survival monitoring, and reporting.
• Coordination with field teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation.
• Preparation of plantation plans, progress reports, and compliance documentation.
Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of agroforestry practices, silviculture, and plantation management.
• Expertise in sapling sourcing, nursery development, and supply chain management.
• Familiarity with GIS mapping, survival audits, and plantation monitoring tools is desirable.
• Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
