About the Role
ELCOT is seeking a creative and digitally savvy professional to enhance and manage its website and social media presence. This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital storytelling, content creation, and data-driven engagement, supporting the technology and innovation initiatives of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging digital content including social media posts, graphics, and visual media
- Manage and grow ELCOT’s presence across LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook
- Oversee and maintain ELCOT’s official websites
- Regularly update website content using CMS platforms (WordPress or equivalent)
- Monitor and analyze performance using Google Analytics and social media insights
- Support digital campaigns, outreach initiatives, and brand communication efforts
- Ensure consistency in messaging, branding, and digital communication standards
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Journalism, Digital Media, or related fields
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in:
- Digital marketing
- Social media management
- Website management or related roles
- Candidates with a strong digital portfolio will be preferred
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in CMS platforms (WordPress or equivalent)
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Experience in social media management and analytics
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.)
- Strong copywriting and communication skills
