Job Title: Microstrategy Developer 

Job Overview: 
We are seeking a BI Developer who is passionate about creating data-driven solutions that help 
businesses make informed decisions. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for the 
design, development, implementation, and maintenance of business intelligence solutions that 
transform data into actionable insights. You will work closely with our data engineers, data analysts, and 
business stakeholders to identify and develop the best possible solutions for our New Zealand-based 
company's needs.

Responsibilities: 
• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that meet business requirements using Microstrategy. 
• Design and develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that effectively communicate 
insights to stakeholders. 
• Work with business users to identify requirements and create data models that support their 
needs. 
• Write complex SQL queries to analyze data and create reports. 
• Create Schema Objects in Microstrategy. 
• Develop and maintain documentation for BI solutions including technical specifications, user 
guides, and training materials. 
• Troubleshoot and optimize BI solutions to ensure performance and reliability. 
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and validity by creating and maintaining data quality rules 
and monitoring data quality issues. 
• Participate in team meetings and provide input on best practices, new technologies, and tools 
for data processing, modeling, and visualization. 
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency. 

Qualifications: 
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 
• 2-4 years of experience in BI development and data warehousing. 
• Expertise in SQL and experience with Microstrategy. 
• Proficient in data modeling and schema design. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Ability to communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders. 
• Experience working in an Agile development environment and retail is a plus. 
• Curiosity, proactive approach, and can-do attitude.
