IT INTERN

Hirani Engineering & Land Surveying is seeking an IT Intern to support day-to-day technology operations across the organization.  This role provides hands-on experience supporting internal users, maintaining systems, and assisting with IT projects in a fast-paced AEC environment.  The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in developing practical IT skills across hardware, software, and user support

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and basic network issues
• Assist with setting up and configuring laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
• Support onboarding and offboarding processes including equipment setup and access provisioning
• Troubleshoot basic IT issues and escalate more complex problems as needed
• Assist with maintaining IT inventory, equipment tracking, and documentation
• Support Microsoft Office, Teams, and other internal systems
• Help maintain file organization, permissions, and shared drives
• Assist with routine system updates, patches, and general maintenance tasks
• Participate in IT projects and process improvements as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills with a customer-service mindset
• Organized with attention to detail
• Ability to work onsite and support internal teams
• Experience with Microsoft Intune.

Salary: $19 per hour
