IT INTERN
Hirani Engineering & Land Surveying is seeking an IT Intern to support day-to-day technology operations across the organization. This role provides hands-on experience supporting internal users, maintaining systems, and assisting with IT projects in a fast-paced AEC environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in developing practical IT skills across hardware, software, and user support
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and basic network issues
- Assist with setting up and configuring laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes including equipment setup and access provisioning
- Troubleshoot basic IT issues and escalate more complex problems as needed
- Assist with maintaining IT inventory, equipment tracking, and documentation
- Support Microsoft Office, Teams, and other internal systems
- Help maintain file organization, permissions, and shared drives
- Assist with routine system updates, patches, and general maintenance tasks
- Participate in IT projects and process improvements as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills with a customer-service mindset
- Organized with attention to detail
- Ability to work onsite and support internal teams
- Experience with Microsoft Intune.
